Jakarta History Museum is Temporarily Closed

The Jakarta History Museum, which is located in the Kota Tua area, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, will be temporarily closed from April 29 to May 1.

We got news that one of the employees was exposed to Covid-19

It is done in connection with the cleaning and spraying of disinfectants throughout the museum building over the next three days.

Jakarta Historical Museum Technical Unit Head, Esti Utami said it was done to follow up on Covid-19 cases in the office environme or in the museum.

"We got news that one of the employees was exposed to Covid-19. Referring to Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2020, it will stop activities at the office. We'll spray disinfectant for three days," she expressed, Thursday (4/29).

After it was done, she explained, the museum would be reopened under strict health protocols.

"We will reopen as usual from Tuesday until Sunday at 8 AM to 3 PM with a limit of 50 percent capacity," she stated.
